The Kerrigan Cup tournament was established with the aim of bringing the MPC schools together for a common objective and having a great time of fun through a round-robin soccer tournament. The schools involved are:St Bakhita, St Catherine, St Elizabeth, Sancta Maria Kayaba and MPC Rehabilitation Centre.
The tournament is played once a year and the participants are both boys and girls from these schools. The best team receives a trophy, t- shirts, caps and certificates while the second best team gets certificates. The best player from both boys and girls gets a trophy each. This motivates and encourages other participants to play harder so that they can emerge the best in the forthcoming events. We are grateful to Malcolm, Margaret and Jon Savage from WAVES Trust who have sponsored the tournament since 2004.
